Job Description

For an important International E&P Company, we are currently looking for an Contract Engineer to work in Mexico City.

To be successful in this Role, you need:

Law Degree, Master in Bussiness

6 years of related experience in Contract and Procurement activities.

Experience in Exploration & Production and in Drilling campaigns is a plus.

Familiar with the typical contractual wording and with contract management (contract and purchase order preparation, check the realization, manage the gaps jointly with the contract owner, ensure the payment with finance team).

Familiar with equipment & services of the oil industry.

Scope of work includes but is not limited to:

Required Contract Engineer shall implement contracts and process orders of equipment required for the drilling campaign in accordance with the project planning. For this scope, the main tasks are to:

In collaboration with the C&P manager, prepare purchase orders specific to the Project.

Ensure a proper execution of the contract process.

Ensure that company contractual policies and applicable laws and regulations are adhered to, especially related to ethic and transparency.

Ensure the good administration and filing of all the contractual documents in accordance with the Company’s procedures.

Propose and work on any contracts optimization initiative (working methods, procedures updates…).

Actively participate to the realization of C&P objectives.

Needs to maintain good communication with the other departments having the willingness to provide support to them.

Knowledge and observance of Company HSE policy, rules and procedures and in particular ISO14001 standard.

Mandatory skills:

Excellent English and Spanish communication skills.
