Job Title: Precommissioning Engineer – Recent Graduate

Our team is currently looking for a highly motivated engineering graduate to join the offshore precommissioning team for our client in Houston. As a recent graduate, you will work closely with experienced engineers to support the precommissioning of offshore oil and gas facilities. This role will be responsible for assisting in the planning, execution, and reporting of precommissioning activities on offshore projects.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the development of precommissioning procedures and work instructions.
• Support the execution of precommissioning activities including pressure testing, leak testing, chemical cleaning, and flushing of pipelines and equipment.
• Assist in the coordination of precommissioning activities with other departments and subcontractors.
• Participate in pre-commissioning and commissioning readiness reviews.
• Assist in the preparation of precommissioning and commissioning reports.
• Support the handover of systems and equipment to the operations team.
• Participate in safety and quality audits and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• B.Sc or MSc (preferred) in engineering (mechanical or chemical preferred)

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Willingness to work offshore and travel as required.
• Basic knowledge of oil and gas industry practices and standards
• Familiarity with MS Office Suite
