Purpose of the role

Responsible for undertake all project’s financial aspects, including corporate and regulatory  reporting, joint venture accounting; budgeting and forecasting coordination, as well as development of internal controls, policies and procedures and ensure accounting records are performed following corporate guidelines and contract requirements. Finance focal point with partners and joint venture auditors.

Responsibilities

• Analysis, control and comment on the operational targets and KPIs.
• Ensure the regulatory requirements are reported on time and accurate.
• Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting.
• Monitor local controls, processes and policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
• Development of proposals for economic optimizations.
• Execution of cost controls and monthly cost estimates, updating SAP structures accordingly in a timely and accurate manner.
• Coordinate budget and forecast preparation and tracking variances
• Documentation of project policies for accounting and operational purposes.
• Assuring invoicing to partners according to partners and authorities contracts
• Cash calls and JV statements preparation and submission
• Joint venture audit coordination
• Focal point for financial topics with our partners.

Critical Skills, Qualifications, Experience

• Bachelor’s in Accounting.
• Master’s degree in finance would be a plus.
• English B2 (based on the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages).
• Over five (5) years of experience in oil and gas industry within the financial area. Background as Project Controller, Operation Controller or business analyst with high analytic capacity and decision taken.
• SAP.
• MS Office.
