Job Description

For an important international Oil & Gas company we are currently looking for a Process Engineer  to work out in Toluca,  Mexico. If you’re passionate and deeply curious about finding solutions to new challenges, you could be the perfect fit for this role.

 

 

Required Qualifications:

 

Chemical, Mechanical, Civil or related engineering.
10 years of experience in the Oil & Gas or Chemical sector.
Experience in process engineering design of pipelines and facilities.
knowledge in process engineering.
Knowledge of standards and regulations in Mexico.
Proficient in Autocad, Aspen, AutoPIPE, SYNERGI GAS, Microsoft Office.
Fluent in English.

 

 

What you will do:

 

– Responsible for maintaining updated Mexican process engineering design standards and ensuring compliance with company standards, Mexican regulation and lessons learned.
– Promote and support compliance with the safety roadmap to strengthen engineering as a driver of process safety culture and leadership in the company. 
– Interact with the different SME’s (Subject Matter Experts) to optimize and update the different process engineering standards and optimize the existing threat program.
– Ensure the successful execution of the process engineering design scope of projects on time and cost, including A/B and Asset Integrity projects.
– Interact with internal stakeholders across all business units as well as external contractors during engineering development.
– Develop technical scopes for contract engineering packages.
– Review of process design engineering developed by third party contractors (including effort analysis).
– Engineering support to commercial and compliance team to ensure regulatory compliance.
– Support design optimization initiatives as part of the PDS (Project Delivery Standard) process, including packaging and skid generation.
– Engineering development/review for filtration, low volume interconnections, pressure regulation, gas quality, etc. projects.
