IT Manager Job Description

Main Capabilities:

·      IT Projects Startup and Teams Management;

·      IT Governance: Projects setting up, frameworking, implementation and accountability;

·      IT management of the Network/Server equipment or support to the ServiceDesk/Outsourcing for that task;

·      Primary / point of contact for the company's IT Systems and CyberSecurity policies implementation;

·      Top-Down view and support / implementation of the software platform adopted in the Project for a common integration;

·      Manage and maintain the relationship with relevant software system vendors, ensuring that Service Level Agreements are met and internal stakeholders an adequately supported;

·      Collection of the Users’ requirements to plan IT investments;

·      Identification of the required assets management for hardware, software, licensing;

·      Identification of the required remote support team / tickets platforms for end-users support;

·      Managing of IT Budget

·      Plan and build best practice delivery capability and deliver the Infrastructure and Cloud (Azure);

·      Definition of IT framework for DR;

·      Provide systems advice and technical direction to senior managers and internal stakeholders as directed;



·      Extensive experience in Enterprise technology stack:

o  Microsoft Azure and Office365 Platforms

o  Cloud-based technologies (Azure, AWS, Google)

o  Virtualization technologies (Vmware, Hyper-V, Citrix)

o  Configuration of Network/Security equipment (Cisco Brand)

o  Micorosoft Windows OS and SQL up to the latest release (Win 10, 2019)

·      Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills for server/Infrastructure;

·      Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills for Clients and Office Apps;

·      Keen to learn new products and technologies;

·      Ability to write up documentation and processes;

·      Proactively look for areas of improvement within the actual environment and making recommendations;

·      Technical expertise, dynamic technology leader with proven infrastructure and cloud experience across large, complex enterprises.

·      Stakeholder engagement, ability to engage with senior stakeholders at a strategic level across the organization and contribute to the successful delivery of business led programs.

Preferred Certifications are:

  • Microsoft, Cisco and other Networking certifications;
  • ITIL / ITSM certifications;
  • Project Management;
