Technical Manager

For one of our clients, a world leader in the construction of infrastructure projects, we are looking for a Technical  Manager to join their project in Curtea de Arges. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing the design execution and construction processes of national infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage the design process in its entirety.
• Develop and implement design plans, specifications, and construction methods.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
• Collaborate closely with project stakeholders, including contractors, suppliers, and clients, to meet project requirements.
• Review and approve project plans and specifications, identifying any potential issues or concerns.
• Monitor construction progress, adjusting schedules as necessary to ensure timely completion of the project.
• Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure that work is being carried out to the required standard.
• Prepare and interpret progress reports, communicating project status to senior management.
• Manage project budgets and quantities, identifying opportunities for cost savings.
• Provide technical support and guidance to project team members, including site supervisors and construction workers.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
• Proven experience in technical management roles within the construction industry – infrastructure.
• Strong understanding of project management principles and practices.
• AutoCAD 2d/Civil optimally 
• Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office suite.
• Familiarity with relevant regulations and standards in the construction industry.
