Job Description

WTS Energy is seeking a skilled and motivated Repair Technician. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing issues in our client`s cutting-edge battery storage systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical and mechanical systems, along with a passion for ensuring the reliability and optimal performance of energy storage solutions.

• Key Responsibilities:
  1. Diagnosis and Troubleshooting:
     • Conduct thorough diagnostics on malfunctioning battery storage systems.
     • Identify and troubleshoot issues related to electrical components, control systems, and mechanical parts.
     • Collaborate with engineering teams to understand and address root causes of faults.
  2. Repair and Maintenance:
     • Perform timely and effective repairs on battery storage systems to minimise downtime.
     • Replace or refurbish faulty components, adhering to Alfen’s quality and safety standards.
     • Execute routine maintenance activities to prevent recurring issues.
  3. Documentation:
     • Maintain detailed records of diagnostic findings, repair actions, and replaced components.
     • Document repair procedures, ensuring comprehensive and accurate documentation.
     • Provide reports to the engineering and maintenance teams.
  4. Quality Assurance:
     • Implement and adhere to quality control measures during repair activities.
     • Conduct tests to validate the effectiveness of repairs and ensure optimal system performance.
     • Collaborate with quality assurance teams to continuously improve repair processes.
  5. Collaboration:
     • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, maintenance, and operations.
     • Provide technical support and insights to other teams involved in the development and deployment of battery storage solutions.
     • Participate in knowledge-sharing sessions to enhance the collective expertise of the organisation.

  Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Repair Engineer, preferably with a focus on battery storage systems.

  Skills:

  • Strong technical proficiency in diagnosing and repairing electrical and mechanical components.
  • Detail-oriented with precision in executing repair tasks.
  • Effective communication skills for collaboration within cross-functional teams.
  • Proactive problem-solving abilities.

  Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Repair Engineer, preferably in the field of battery storage systems
