QHSSE Manager

About The Role

For an important international Oil & Gas Maritim company we are currently looking for a QHSSE Manager to work out in Ciudad del Carmen. If you’re passionate and deeply curious about finding solutions to new challenges, you could be the perfect fit for this role.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in occupational safety and health, Environmental Science Safety, Industrial Hygiene, or similar education.
• At least 8 years of verifiable previous experience in similar, with possess strong knowledge relating to offshore safety requirements and programs, including but not limited to Behavior-Based Safety, Stop Work Authority, Permit to Work, and Management of Change.
• Possess relevant knowledge of Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), Mexico regulations.
• Have an advanced level of English, capable of holding business conversations.
• HSSE-related professional certifications.
• Valid Passport.
• Kelvin TOP SET™ Investigation training (or ability to obtain).

What you will do:

• Ensures successful certification and maintenance of management system certifications, such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.
• Provide leadership to a team of HSSE Advisors, HSSE Field Operations support, as well as oversee training strategy, compliance, and quality priorities.
• Formulate, develop, implement, and maintain general QHSSE related policies, plans and procedures to be followed by company and subcontracted personnel to maintain compliance with local, state, federal and international rules, regulations, and codes.
• Routinely visit business units and project worksites to engage with personnel to support, mentor coach and advise on QHSSE matters. 
• Monitor and report QHSSE performance to the leadership and the wider organization, as required and ensure compliance with the applicable relevant laws, regulations, and standards is maintained.
• Receives accident/incident reports; coordinates investigation of incidents; provides initial and follow up reports to insurance company and government and legal bodies as required.
