Painting and insulation engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Painting and Insulation engineer for an Oil&Gas project in Paris. Experience in Oil and Gas field (5 – 10 years) is required.

Main Responsibilities:

The SUBCONTRACTOR will perform the following tasks:

• Develop Painting Specifications and Insulation Specifications

• Review Vendor Documents : Painting Procedure, FQCP, ITP

• Perform Material Take Off Activities of painting and Insulation systems applicable to Piping

• Clarify with Process discipline design and operating conditions to confirm selection of applicable painting & insulation systems

• Manage interfaces with Engineering Disciplines and QCS to address Vendor Queries & Deviation requests

• Participate in meetings with Clients and Partners

• Produce quality deliverables

• Report on activities performed on a weekly basis to the Materials & Welding Lead on the assigned Project.

Qualifications:

• Msc Degree in Materials Engineering or Chemistry,

• 5 – 10 years experience in engineering or site activities in Painting & Insulation field,

• Good knowledge of applicable code & standards related to Painting and Insulation,

• Work proficiently in English,

• Self-managing, dynamic and responsive

• Good teamwork and inter-personal skills,

Location : Paris, France

Duration: 1 year minimum
