Job Description

WTS Energy is looking for an Operator Mechanic for our client who is one of the largest privately owned exploration and production operating company in the Netherlands.
 
Requirements:

• Operate and monitor mechanical equipment such as pumps, compressors, engines, and valves to ensure efficient production processes.
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections on equipment to ensure proper functioning and identify potential issues.
• Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and perform repairs as needed to minimize downtime and maintain productivity.
• Follow safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.
• Collaborate with other team members to coordinate maintenance activities and optimize equipment performance.
• Keep accurate records of equipment maintenance, repairs, and operational activities.
• Stay updated on industry best practices, technological advancements, and safety regulations related to mechanical operations in the oil and gas sector.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or relevant vocational training preferred.
• Proven experience working as an operator mechanic in the oil and gas industry
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and diagrams.
• Familiarity with safety regulations and procedures in the oil and gas industry.
