Job Summary
We are seeking a Maintenance Area Manager who will direct the maintenance, reliability, and capital project execution efforts of all equipment, buildings, and grounds necessary for the continuity of all manufacturing operations for our client’s site

Main Responsibilities:

• Work with Leadership to develop, communicate and implement both preventive and corrective maintenance plans to meet short and long-term business needs.
• Supervise a staff of Reliability Engineers, Team Managers, and Technologists responsible for routine maintenance execution.
• Maintain effective communications with Manufacturing to ensure all business objectives are met with respect to maintenance.
• Maintain aggressive cost reduction and work execution productivity programs to maintain and improve the competitive position and profitability of the businesses.
• Manage and report all maintenance costs for the site, including forecasting, accruals and turnaround costs.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor (BS) degree in Mechanical (preferred), Electrical or Chemical Engineering from an accredited university
• 5-10 years of related experience
• Previous supervision experience
• Demonstrated competencies in the areas of technical/process skills, leadership and management abilities
• Process Safety Management
• French language
• MBA desirable
• Willing to travel, as needed
