Job Description

Job Title: ICT Support Specialist

Location: Nairobi, Kenya

Job Summary:

On behalf of our client, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced ICT Support to join our team in Nairobi. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in managing ICT applications and infrastructure, ensuring robust information security, data protection, and seamless ICT operations across the organization.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Efficiently and effectively manage ICT applications and infrastructure, ensuring the highest standards of information security and data protection.
  • Collaborate with various functional areas to gather and analyze ICT demands, ensuring alignment with business needs.
  • Report and analyze budget and actual costs for ICT and telecommunication activities, adhering to defined schedules.
  • Oversee ICT projects, monitoring timing, cost, quality, and compliance.
  • Ensure the smooth and efficient running of all ICT systems within the organization.
  • Provide timely and effective solutions to IT-related issues.
  • Supervise the management and maintenance of computer workstations.

Job Requirements:

  • Must have a Relevant Degree in IT
  • Engineering degree will be an added advantage.
  • Must have 5-10 years of professional experience in a similar role.
  • Proven experience in people management with strong leadership, management, and coordination skills.
  • Experience in contract management.
  • Proficient in information and technology systems, applications, and equipment.
  • Extensive knowledge of computer security, Systems Architectures, and TLC Architectures.
  • Proven experience in microsoft Active Directory (AD) and Azure ,Microsoft Operating Systems (Windows 10, Windows 11, Windows Server 2019) and Microsoft 365 (SharePoint, Office, Exchange, Power Platform)
  • Experience in advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Detail oriented and highly organized.
