Job Description

Job Summary:

Highly motivated and experienced Drilling Operations Coordinator to lead optimization projects in drilling and well completion operations remotely. The engineer will be responsible for coordinating and supervising all operational activities, from logistics to personnel management, with a focus on remote operations and presenting results to clients. Proven track record in successful team management and project execution.
 
 
Main Responsibilities:

  • Logistics: Coordinate and plan logistics operations to ensure efficient execution of drilling and well completion projects. Personnel and equipment movements.
  • Manage the supply and distribution of necessary resources for operations.
  • Personnel Management: Supervise and lead operational teams, ensuring safety and efficiency in the workplace. Provide continuous guidance and training to improve performance. Field personnel and connectivity.
  • Technical Knowledge: Possess deep knowledge of drilling and well completion operations. Stay informed of all operations performed in the wells to provide proper guidance to specialists under their supervision, and promptly identify deviations.
  • Familiarity with remote operations technologies and connectivity systems, especially WITS.
  • Customer Relations: Maintain effective communication with clients, ensuring satisfaction and understanding of their needs. Present operational results and provide regular updates to clients.
  • Connectivity and WITS: Solid experience in connectivity systems and deep understanding of WITS protocols. Work closely with infrastructure and connectivity personnel to continuously improve equipment used, manage inventories, material requisitions, installations, and equipment uninstallations at each well.
  • Information Quality Control: Maintain focus on providing the highest quality service, conduct appropriate QA/QC filtering of shared information to each client.

 
 
Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree: Petroleum engineer or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the oil field as a directional/MWD/Data, company man, or pusher, and 2 years as a personnel coordinator with over 10 people, verifiable.
  • Able to communicate in English.
