Business Development Manager – (marine)

JOB PURPOSE:

· To drive sustainable financial growth through boosting sales and forging strong relationships with clients with focus on new clients and key account management in APAC region towards the services which may include industrial or ship boilers repair, heat transfer and associated equipment within the marine, offshore, energy from waste, and associated onshore industrial sectors.

 

JOB DESCRIPTION

Sales & Marketing

· Selling and marketing the companies range of services and Business Development for area that you are responsible plus any other territory that may be requested by the Management;

· Support the overall process of management and corporate decision-making to ensure the organization maximizes its profitability and shareholders returns.

· Ensure efficient and effective marketing, advertising, and promotional planning through the Marketing department;

· Deliver Sales Budget and KPI (to be listed)

· Maintain Regular updates to Zoho CRM, daily, weekly and monthly.

Business Development

· Impact the profitability of the company through ensuring strategic and tactical management decisions and new business development results;

· Identifies new market potential by researching industry and related events, publications and announcements; tracking individual contribution and their accomplishments;

· Locate or propose potential business deal by contracting potential partners; discovering and exploring opportunities;

· Screens potential business deals by analysing company strategies, requirements, potential and financials; evaluating options;

· Manage BD elements in key markets in the APAC region with emphasis into Singapore and Malayasia on Development of New markets to supplement and expand our existing customer base

· Develops negotiating strategies and positions by studying integration of new venture with company strategy and operations; examining risk and potentials;

· Protects organization’s value by keeping information confidential;

· Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organisations;

· Enhances organisation reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requirements; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments;

· Being flexible and undertaking any task within capability;

· Develop and reports detailed understanding of Local Market rates;

· Develop and reports on day-to-day activities in the local markets and analysing the competition and carrying a marketing analysis;

· Maintain and develop organizational culture, values and reputation in its markets and with all staff, customers, suppliers and partners.

· Liaise with other executive heads on the implementation of the company’s strategy, ensuring the strategy objectives are well understood and executed by the team;

· Keeping contact data base updated with company CRM

 

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS

Minimum Qualification:

· BSc/BA in business administration, or relevant field

· Proficient with MS Office applications

· Knowledge of business and management principals

Minimum Experience:

· Experience as Business Development Manager

· Experience in sales and/or marketing and managing relationships with key clients

· Good project and time management skills

· Working knowledge of CRM

· Marine experience with Oil&Gas background for onshore Refinery and Power plants.

· Preferred knowledge of either industrial or ship boiler repair OR heat transfer and associated equipment within the marine, offshore, energy from waste, and associated onshore industrial sectors.
