SR. CHEMIST (DRILLING) Job Description
Department ASSET INTEGRITY
Primary purpose of job
Coordinate and monitor Production Chemistry Laboratory (cement, drilling fluids & stimulation formulations) operations in supporting various oil and gas function by providing reliable and safe lab analytical services.
Supervision of day to day running of the lab for sub-surface activities under close guidance.
Participates in preparation of the budget.
Assigns testing activities to Lab senior technicians and in supervising the analysis of the samples.
Experience & Skills
Minimum 10yrs in oil & gas laboratory.
Good knowledge of international standards such as API, ASTM, IP and UOP.
Fluent in English.
Excellent knowledge of use of computers.
Education
B.Sc in Chemistry
