Senior Product Management IoT

Job Description

WTS Energy is looking for a Senior Product Manager IoT Solutions, place of work – Amsterdam, the role is strategic on both IoT hardware as software development, discovering new markets and understands customers/users’ needs, problems, and desires, and use this knowledge for the planning & set up of commercially successful products for a company developing new technology for real time monitoring wells, within Oil & Gas market, as a new remote monitoring solution that gives customers full control of wellhead monitoring and management.

Main activities:

–  Own and steer a 1-3 year product roadmap

– Forming, Communicating & Presenting product strategy & roadmaps to all stakeholders of the company (tech,, marketing, sales, operations, MT)

– Interface with market, business, customers & external stakeholders

– Customer Interaction – Relationship Management throughout the R&D phase

– Build business cases

– Build and maintain the Product catalogue and taxonomy of the solution

– Updated business requirements based on customer feedback, experience & architectural roadmap

– Define product pricing requirements & high level BOM

– Communicate Solution Vision and Business requirement roadmap to Tech

– Define solution certification requirements & strategy

– Define core product requirements for any 3rd party supplier requirements

– Define solution KPIs and Metrics

– Keep Solution team (Tech team+ PM, EM) updated on KPIs and Metrics

Requirements

 - Relevant degree (preferably Master's degree) with at least 5 years of experience working in a similar role in a b2b Tech-environment

-  Product Manager who has already successfully developed and owned a physical product, knowing how to work with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM)

- Relevant experience in the Oil & Gas market, and understand the problems that can be solved with IoT

- Relevant experience in IoT

- Knowing how to get the right information, see opportunities & threats, and build a strategy that multiple teams will engage on

- Fluency in spoken and written English
