For our client, a major company responsible for all phases of the oil and gas industry, we are looking for a Senior Engineer IMS & RBI System.
To direct and oversee the successful operation of the IMS and RBI systems. Provide technical support and guidance for the development and operation of the Inspection Management System and Risk Based Inspection System.
To promote standardization and utilization of the Corporate IMS and RBI systems within company. Ensure system availability and synchronisation of the RBMI System throughout all offshore sites
To Establish Implement, develop and maintain a networked Distributed Database Management System (DDBMS) to support the Inspection Management System and Risk Based Inspection (IMS &RBI) Management System for all offshore assets.
To manage training programmes and support users on the IMS and RBI systems. In the absence of the state legislation and verification standards, act as control to attest, on behalf of the Corporation, those facilities are fit for purpose and safe for operational use. In addition, has significant participation and technical input in all related matters.
Initiation, Management and successful execution of Data acquisition of RBI Analysis for IMS & RBI System for all offshore locations. Coordination with personnel in all locations in order to formulate an action plan for collecting the results of inspection surveys of all topside piping, subsea piping, pipelines, Vessels, Exchangers, Safety Valves, associated static equipment, storage facilities in PS2, PS3, NFA, NSS and Halul locations for the implementation of RBI system.
To prepare and maintain long and short-term plans based on the business requirements and the available resources in the users areas and ITS.
To act as Department Focal Point in RBI related matters.
A minimum of 10 years experience in inspection within the Oil & Gas and Petrochemical industry.
5 – 7 years to have been spent in a senior position within the Offshore.
Must be accustomed to corrosion monitoring and analysis, and all NDT methods. Must be aware and accustomed to Quality
Assurance Systems (ISO 9000 Series).
Must have knowledge of relevant codes and standards including codes relating to pressure containing plant, safety relief devices inspection and non-destructive testing. Should have sound knowledge of Risk based inspection philosophy and experience in criticality analysis. API 580/ 581.
Shall have qualities of services provided are maintained at high standards in a professional manner and inline with all applicable standards, codes, regulations and statutory requirements related to asset integrity and protection of environment.
• BSc. Or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering
• Tertiary qualification in Inspection Practices and Control.
• Good knowledge of English
• Membership of Professional Associations would be an advantage.
