Job Description

For one of our clients in Romania, we are looking for Reservoir Engineer in Bucharest who will primarily be responsible to provide input to the development of new wells and post well reporting.

Job Duties

  • Provide Re input to the development of new wells and post well reporting
  • ¬†Ensure outputs meet agreed schedules and deadlines while maintaining a focus on technical rigor.
  • Field reserves evaluation
  • Identify performance deviation and production improvement
  • ¬†Responsible for maintaining quality standards on all projects
  • Act as technical consultant in a particular field of expertise
  • ¬†Generate production forecast, monitor drilling and well testing operations and participate in post-mortem analysis
  • ¬†Update data base
  • ¬†Design, prepare, and monitor wells
  • ¬†Prepare¬†¬†supporting¬†¬†technical¬†¬†documentation, obtain¬†¬†necessary approvals, monitor their implementation, and quantifies the results.
  • ¬†Contribute to annual Hydrocarbon reserves and resource booking and reporting
  • Maintain excellent cooperation with other team members and experts across the company.

Requirements
  • Ability to identify issues and implement creative and strategic solutions to overcome problems
  • ¬†Degree or an advanced degree in a field relating to the energy and natural resources industry
  • ¬†Demonstrated project management skills
  • ¬†Ability to plan, organize, develop, implement, and interpret goals, objectives, and policies
  • ¬†10 years of related experience with a focus on development geology
  • ¬†Degree or diploma in the petroleum engineering or related discipline
  • ¬†Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing
  • ¬†High flexibility with strong interpersonal skills that allow one to work effectively in a diverse environment
  • ¬†Sound understanding of risk management
  • ¬†Ability to build constructive relationships with key representatives
