Job Description

For one of our clients, an international FPSO owner and operator, we are currently looking for an Engine Room Maintenance Technician. This position will initially be based in China for the conversion phase, followed by operations in Brazil.


The Electrician is responsible for operation and maintenance of electric power installations and

utilities of the vessel. Further, the Electrician is responsible for ensuring that the day to day activities are carried out in a safe and healthy manner and that the impact of such activities on the environment is within acceptable limits.

The appointed “REP” (Responsible Electrical Person) main responsibility is High Voltage installation.

Particular emphasis is laid on the operation and maintenance of the High Voltage system as outlined

in the Regulations.

Authorized to access dedicated restricted areas, such as switch board rooms, UPS, and related areas.

The Electrician shall be an authorized professional according to the requirements of NR-10, in order to

provide services in electric systems.


 Carry out repair and planned maintenance (PM) work on the electrical power installation, utilities

and ensure that the electrical installation complies with the applicable rules and regulations.

 Report the E&I status of the installation and any changes/modifications made or other matter of

importance to his/her superior.
