End of the Line (EOL) Lead Test Engineer

Job Description

EoL Lead Test Engineer is responsible for conducting test procedures on products and product sub-assemblies based on internal and/or external standards and guidelines. This includes the planning, design, setup, training of EoL test technicians and actual performance of the tests and generating test reports with all required test data and test results. The role will coach and mentor the EOL test technicians on technical aspects of the role. The role is based in Lebanon, Tennessee.


  • Conduct EoL testing / configuration / calibration activities on Veefil product and component subassemblies
  • Lead all ‘troubleshooting’ / diagnostic activities including the associated repair of non-functioning / malfunctioning Veefil product
  • Identify, develop & deploy test process opportunities using PFMEA techniques to deliver a suite of highly optimized test procedures
  • Assist the CI Engineering Team with developing & deploying new test instrumentation (EoL), with a focus on automation and error proofing.
  • Coach & mentor (technical only) the EoL Test, ensuring there is an intentional transference of technical knowledge
  • Maintain & update EoL Test / NCR / rework documentation
  • Develop & deploy the necessary safety awareness initiatives in the high-voltage test bays
  • Bridge the technical gap between the wider CI Engineering, Manufacturing and Customer Service teams
  • Provide training and support to the test team, and assist with scheduling in times of pressure or unusual deadlines.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Degree Qualified in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics or a related technology qualification.
  • 8 years of experience in the development of process documentation that will include standard operating procedures/work instructions/test instructions
  • Preferred: Experience in high volume manufacturing and test
  • Proven accuracy and attention to detail;
  • Hands-on and practical approach;
  • Enthusiasm and highly motivated;
  • Ability to work under pressure and time constraints;
  • On occasion the ability to travel where required to facilitate the outcomes required in this position;
  • Must be eligible to work in US.
