Chief Executive Officer
Jean-Paul (JP) de Jong has been appointed as CEO of WTS Energy back in January 2023. He brings over 15 years of experience in energy, recruitment, and consultancy. JP has led global teams and developed key accounts across the Americas, EMEA, and APAC regions. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and is based at WTS Energy’s headquarters in The Hague, Netherlands.Â
Olisamedua Chukuemeka
Finance director
Olisamedua Chukwuemeka, MSc Finance, FCA, is the Accounting Director at WTS Energy, where he leads global financial operations from the company’s headquarters in The Hague. Since joining WTS Energy in 2018 as Finance Manager in Lagos to then transfer to the Netherlands in 2020, he has been instrumental in enhancing financial processes and supporting the company’s international growth. With prior experience at PwC Nigeria, Olisamedua brings a wealth of expertise in financial management and strategic planning to the energy sectorÂ
Angeline de Wit-Paul
Operations Director
Angeline de Wit-Paul is the Operations Director at WTS Energy, where she oversees global operational strategies and ensures the delivery of tailored workforce solutions across the energy sector. With a strong background in operations management, she plays a pivotal role in streamlining processes and enhancing service quality. Angeline also serves as a board member of the WTS Foundation, contributing to initiatives focused on renewable energy training and capacity building in East Africa.
Albert Kahlow
Global Business Director
Albert Kahlow is the Global Business Director at WTS Energy, where he leads strategic growth initiatives across key regions, including the Middle East. With over 12 years of international leadership experience in workforce solutions, Albert has built high-performing teams and expanded operations in CIS, Europe, Middle East, and North America. He also serves as the General Manager of WTS Energy Arabia, driving the company’s expansion in Saudi Arabia to support Vision 2030 through scalable, compliant, and locally focused workforce solutionsÂ
Abdul Bari
Director of the Middle East and Asia
Abdul Bari is the Director for the Middle East and Asia at WTS Energy, responsible for overseeing commercial operations, client delivery, and regional expansion. With over 25 years of experience in the energy and staffing industries, he has played a key role in growing the company’s footprint in the region. Abdul specializes in strategic planning, business development, and workforce solutions for complex energy projects. He has successfully built and led high-performing teams, managed multimillion-dollar contracts, and ensured operational excellence and compliance in challenging environments. He holds a Master of Business Administration and is based in the United Arab Emirates.Â
Mihaela Sarlea
Commercial Director
Mihaela Șarlea is the Director of Recruitment and Country Director for WTS Energy Romania. Since opening the Romania office in 2016, she has played a key role in building the business from the ground up, growing it tenfold, managing operations, and winning large international contracts. With over a decade of experience in global recruitment and business development, Mihaela drives commercial strategy and supports clients across Europe with high-quality, compliant staffing solutions. She holds a PhD in Economy and International Affairs and brings a deep understanding of both local markets and global industry needs.Â
Wesley van Zijp
Director of Europe
Wesley van Zijp is the Director of Europe at WTS Energy, based in The Hague. With over a decade of commercial experience, Wesley specializes in global mobility and workforce solutions for the energy, renewables, and marine sectors. He has successfully supported major clients across Europe and Southeast Asia by delivering tailored recruitment strategies and project-based staffing for engineering, construction, and commissioning roles. Wesley brings a strong background in business development, technical recruitment, and key account management for complex international projects.Â
Lennart Rietveld
Director of the Americas
Lennart Rietveld is the Americas Director at WTS Energy, leading operations in Mexico and the U.S. He started operations in Mexico in 2016 and became Director in 2021, expanding the company’s regional presence. He oversees strategic planning, commercial development, and recruitment projects, ensuring tailored workforce solutions. Lennart has two bachelor’s degrees in Management and Tourism, plus postgraduate studies in Executive Competencies and Strategic Human Capital Management.

Paolo Masi is the Director of Africa at WTS Energy, overseeing the company’s strategic operations and growth across the continent. With more than 15 years of experience in the energy sector, Paolo brings deep expertise in operations, stakeholder engagement, and strategic market expansion. Under his leadership, WTS Energy has scaled its African footprint, delivering compliant, high-quality technical services and workforce solutions to both conventional and renewable energy clients. He has played a central role in launching regional training and technology centers, forging partnerships with local governments and international agencies to support workforce development and energy transition goals. Â
