Job Description

We are currently looking for a Site Engineer to join a major international infrastructure project in Cameroon, supporting the Construction Management team in the successful delivery of site activities. The role involves coordinating technical and administrative aspects of construction, ensuring that works are executed in accordance with project specifications, contractual requirements, and approved construction plans.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement construction methodologies approved by the Construction Manager
• Ensure compliance with quality, environmental, and HSE plans
• Supervise and monitor site production activities, including direct workforce and subcontractors
• Support the Construction Manager in organizing and coordinating construction activities on site
• Prepare operational plans and resource allocation, ensuring project targets are achieved in line with contractual requirements and technical specifications
• Assist the technical office with method statements and technical documentation, in collaboration with the design team
• Monitor construction progress and record tests and inspections carried out on site
• Identify and stop works that do not comply with contractual specifications
• Collaborate with QA, HSE, Environmental, and Sustainability teams to resolve non-conformities
• Support the implementation of corrective actions and propose preventive measures to avoid recurrence

Requirements

• Degree in Engineering
• 3–5 years of experience in the construction sector in a similar role
• Experience working on large or complex infrastructure projects
• French – professional level (spoken and written)
