JOB SUMMARY

The Senior Business Analyst will support the Company’s Onshore IT Manager by acting as the bridge between business users and technology delivery teams to ensure asset digital initiatives are translated into clear requirements, well-defined solutions, measurable value, and successful adoption.

The role is responsible for business process analysis, requirements definition, solution validation, stakeholder management, and benefits tracking – ensuring IT investments deliver tangible outcomes such as improved production efficiency, reduced deferment, improved reliability, enhanced compliance, and lower operating costs.

 
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Business Analysis & Requirements Management:

• Lead discovery sessions with stakeholders to understand operational challenges and improvement opportunities.
• Translate business needs into clear documentation including: Business Requirements Document, Functional Requirements Document, user stories/acceptance criteria, process maps (As-Is/To-Be), and data/reporting requirements.
• Define and maintain requirements traceability from concept through delivery and post-go-live support.

2. Process Improvement & Digital Enablement:

• Analyse and improve end-to-end workflows across core asset processes such as production operations, maintenance, asset integrity, amongst others.
• Identify gaps, bottlenecks, control weaknesses, and automation opportunities.

3. IT Delivery Support (Projects & Enhancements:

• Support shaping demand into properly scoped initiatives with business cases, benefits mapping, KPIs, and fit-gap assessment.
• Work with internal delivery teams and vendors to validate solution designs and ensure alignment with business needs. 
• Coordinate user acceptance planning and execution

4. Data, Reporting & Insights:

• Define data standards, ownership, and quality requirements with business and technical teams.
• Support reporting and analytics initiatives (dashboards, performance reporting, management insights).
• Translate reporting requirements into specifications for BI/analytics teams.

5. Change Management & Adoption:

• Support deployment planning including stakeholder readiness, training needs, and communications.
• Drive user adoption and sustained value realization.
• Develop SOPs, user guides, and training materials.

6. Governance, Controls & Documentation:

• Ensure solutions comply with IT governance, security standards, and audit requirements. 
• Support IT controls such as access controls, segregation of duties, and change approvals. 
• Maintain high-quality documentation for processes, requirements, and solution changes.

Qualification & Skills

• B.Sc in Information Technology with Business Information Systems or Computer Science
• Bachelors in Related Discipline
• Strong business analysis capability in complex operational environments
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills (frontline to executives)
• Structured thinking and documentation discipline
• Ability to translate operational problems into practical technology solutions
• Strong facilitation skills (workshops, interviews, process mapping)
