Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Engineer – Cost Control to support a large-scale shipyard project, ensuring effective cost planning, monitoring, and control across complex shipbuilding operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and manage project budgets, forecasts, and cost reports
• Monitor project expenditures and identify cost variances
• Provide accurate cost analysis and recommendations to project teams
• Support project planning, scheduling, and financial tracking
• Work closely with engineering and production teams to optimise cost efficiency
• Ensure compliance with project controls procedures and reporting standards

Requirements

• Proven experience in shipbuilding or heavy fabrication yard environments
• Strong background in cost control within large industrial or EPC projects
• Hands-on exposure to yard / production operations
• Strong analytical and reporting skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, large-scale project environment

Important Note

• Not suitable for design office-only or maintenance-only backgrounds
• Must have practical production / yard experience
