For one of our clients, we are recruiting a Senior E&I who is responsible to maintain, repair and ensure uninterrupted operation of the unit’s electronic and electrical equipment. His area of responsibility covers electrical and instrumentation equipment on whole unit.
Responsibilities:
- The maintenance and repair of all electronic and electrical equipment including (not limited to):
- High and low voltage systems
- Automation and control systems
- Internal communications equipment
- Deck and cargo monitoring equipment
- Engine room equipment
- Generators and motors
- Computer network
- Follow PTW system, rules, regulations and work procedures applicable to his responsibilities
- To report any hazardous situation or equipment failure to MSUP as appropriate
- Monitor spare parts inventory related to the area of responsibility
- Familiar with Computerized Maintenance systemÂ
- Undertake training relevant to the position requirementsÂ
- Ensure personnel qualifications are established and that each individual is given the opportunity of improvement through selective on the job training
- Member of Emergency Response Team
Requirements
- Meet the standard of competence of electro-technical officer (ETO) STCW code A-III/6.
- Permitted to carry out maintenance on HV systems
