About the Role:
WTS Energy is seeking a highly experienced Senior Completion Engineer for a consultancy assignment with our international client. This is a key role for a major offshore development project, starting on 1st September with an initial one-month contract and a strong possibility of extension.

Purpose of the Position:
To provide expert completion engineering services for the development project, focusing on the design, planning, and operational support for upper and lower completions.

Main Responsibilities:

• Perform detailed engineering design and planning for upper and lower completions.
• Develop completion operational plans in close liaison with service partners.
• Provide expertise in smart sand control completions for open hole gravel packs (OHGP), cased hole gravel packs (CHGP), horizontal open hole water packing (HRWP), and frac pack (CHFP) applications.
• Offer engineering support for well testing and artificial lift technologies, including ESP (standard and rigless wireline retrievable solutions).
• Lead proppant selection, screen testing, and frac/stimulation design and fluid selection.
• Design and specify Christmas tree systems.
• Utilize well planning and completion design software to ensure optimal and safe design.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• 10 to 20 years of relevant experience in completion engineering and operations, gained with International Oil Companies (IOCs) and service companies.
• Proven experience with offshore completion projects, including:
  • Single and multi-zone (single trip) smart sand control completions.
  • Well testing and artificial lift (ESP) technologies.
  • Frac/stimulation design and engineering.
• High proficiency in industry-standard software such as StressCheck, WellCat, WellPlan, and completion/frac simulation tools.
• Strong communication skills for effective liaison with service partners and team members.
