JOB SUMMARY 

• Watch keeping duties in CCR and assist CSUP as cargo operator during cargo operations.
• Act as CSUP Deputy
• Area of responsibility includes cargo, ballast, radio communications, and mooring/unmooring operations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Follow PTW system, rules, regulations, and work procedures applicable to his responsibilities.
• Monitor, control, and log imported and produced oil.
• Control and execute export oil discharge as instructed by CSUP.
• Monitor and execute ballast operations as instructed by CSUP.
• Monitor and control Fiscal Metering Unit operation.
• Monitor and control unit trim, draft, and hull stresses.
• Monitor and execute bulk chemicals loading and distribution operations.
• Monitor and record all safety equipment alarms received in the CCR.
• Maintain radio communication with the Process Deck as applicable.
• Maintain radio communication with the Export Tanker as applicable.
• Maintain radio communication with the Helicopter / Crew change boat as applicable.
• Maintain radio communication with the supply boats as applicable.
• Control supply operations and boat traffic in 500 m Zone.
• Maintain CCR Logbook and storage tank status records.
• Maintain GMDSS Logbook and perform equipment tests and inspections.
• Maintain mandatory maritime publications log up to date.
• Prepare PTW and supervise maintenance activities on cargo/ballast system.
• Undertake training relevant to the position requirements.
• Member of Emergency Response Team.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATION 

• Have completed approved education and training and meet the standard of competence specified in section AII/
• 1 of the STCW code for officer on watch.
• Experience as 2nd Officer required. Offshore experience is desired.
• Have completed advance training for oil and basic training on chemical tankers.
• Standard of competence according to Yinson Competence Assurance Matrix.
• Very good English written and spoken.
