Job Description

Key Responsibilities

1. Human Resource Management

  • Plan priorities, staff availability, and time to optimize resources.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and apply corrective actions when necessary.
  • Promote staff training, development, and continuous learning.
  • Foster a performance-driven culture aligned with corporate goals.

2. Health, Safety, and Environment (HSSE)

  • Guarantee full compliance with HSSE policies, regulations, and statutory requirements.
  • Lead and influence cultural and behavioral changes in safety practices.
  • Promote continuous improvement in HSSE across all divisions.

3. Financial

  • Ensure adherence to financial policies.
  • Prepare and submit annual budgets and spending plans.
  • Manage departmental budgets and control expenditures.
  • Oversee procurement activities with transparency and good governance.
  • Ensure timely vendor payments in line with contractual agreements.

4. Functional

  • Supervise daily procurement, inventory, and warehousing operations.
  • Develop strategies incorporating industry best practices.
  • Negotiate prices and supply terms for significant purchases.
  • Resolve supplier performance issues and vendor grievances.
  • Represent the department in meetings and prepare performance reports.
  • Monitor KPIs and customer satisfaction, implementing corrective actions when needed.

Qualifications

  • English proficiency: B1 level
  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Management or Engineering
  • Postgraduate studies in Supply Chain, Business, or Finance (preferred)
  • Minimum 10 years of supply chain experience, with at least 3 in senior supervisory roles

 Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Contract administration and negotiation expertise
  • Project and budget management skills
  • Knowledge of labor law, statutory regulations, and Mexican Official Standards (NOMs)
  • Strong leadership, mentoring, and communication skills
  • Analytical and problem-solving abilities with sound decision-making
  • Customer service orientation and results-driven mindset
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems
