  • Promote and enforce a strong culture of safety and quality across all commissioning activities.
  • Identify project risks and proactively communicate technical issues or safety concerns to project leadership.

  • Develop and implement detailed commissioning scopes, procedures, and execution plans.
  • Review and support Vendor FAT and SAT activities, including attendance when required.
  • Prepare commissioning documentation such as CTPs, method statements, manuals, and technical instructions.
  • Support the development of pre‑commissioning and commissioning schedules (Level 3 & Level 4) in coordination with planning teams and vendors.
  • Ensure availability of all temporary equipment, tools, consumables, and spare parts required for PCCSU activities.
  • Coordinate closely with multidiscipline teams (ICSS, telecom, utilities, vendors, construction, and engineering) to integrate commissioning requirements into design and execution.
  • ESD-1 / ESD-2 / ESD-3 verification
  • Lead the transition from Area-Based Completion (ABC) to System-Based Completion (SBC) in collaboration with Completion & Handover teams.
  • Witness pre‑commissioning activities performed by construction contractors to ensure readiness for mechanical completion and handover.
  • Manage all process-related interfaces throughout pre‑commissioning, commissioning, and start-up phases.
  • Ensure accurate red-line mark-ups and as‑commissioned documentation are completed and handed over.
  • Monitor progress against plan and implement corrective actions to safeguard key contractual milestones, including RFSU (Ready for Start-Up).
  • Provide technical support during commissioning and start-up, particularly for large rotating equipment and FLNG/FSU systems.
  • Support operations training programs and assist in the final handover of the facility to the client.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering (or equivalent), with strong leadership and coordination skills.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in process pre‑commissioning and commissioning, with significant exposure to large rotating equipment.
  • Proven experience with compressors, pumps, turbines, and similar machinery.
  • Prior experience in LNG, gas processing, refinery, or major EPC projects is highly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of system completion, commissioning sequencing, and start-up methodologies.
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
  • Proficiency in relevant tools and systems, including MS Office, Power BI, Bluebeam/PDF tools, 3D modeling platforms, and Completion Management Systems (e.g., PIMS or equivalent).
  • Highly organized, practical professional with strong communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
  • Solid site experience with a strong awareness of HSE requirements, SIMOPS constraints, and field execution challenges.
  • Readiness and flexibility to work across Home Office and Site locations throughout the project lifecycle.
