Marine Civil Director

PURPOSE:

This role is critical to the success of our marine civil projects and related operations. We are looking for an experienced professional with a strong background in project, contracts management and operational leadership within the marine civil construction sector.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Leading the Projects Department to ensure timely, cost-effective, and high-quality execution of marine civil works.

· Formulating and implementing operational strategies aligned with the company’s overarching vision and strategic objectives.

· Overseeing departmental productivity, resource planning, and performance management.

· Providing strategic leadership to Project and Operations Managers, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.

· Ensuring full compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards across all operational activities.

· Establishing and maintaining strategic relationships with suppliers, contractors, and key stakeholders.

· Supporting talent development initiatives and contributing to succession planning within the department.

REQUIREMENTS:

· The ideal candidate must have 15 to 20 years of strong project management experience.

· Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering

· PMP certification as an asset.
