For one of our clients, an international FPSO owner and operator, we are currently looking for a Maintenance Supervisor.

  • Head of the Maintenance department
  • Management of technical operations and meeting the KPIs for maintenance and safety
  • Execute and coordinate actions to maintain utilities and energy sources necessary to support daily production.
  • Ensure personnel is informed of their duties and applicable work procedures and of safety and pollution prevention measure
  • Familiar with rules, regulations and work procedures within area of responsibility
  • Familiar with PTW System, Risk Assessment and Safe Job Analysis
  • Ensure that the following functions are conducted safely and professionally in accordance with approved work procedures:
    • Machinery operation
    • Machinery/system maintenance
    • Planned maintenance system
    • Repair work
    • Maintenance of classification status and certificates
    • To execute assigned tasks in conformance with work procedures and/or quality plans as instructed by the responsible Area Supervisor
    • To execute assigned tasks safely, to the highest standards, and to report hazardous conditions without delay to OIM
    • Documentation of spare parts and specified items
    • Calculation and bunkering of safe stocks of fuel oils and lubrication oils
    • Ensure that safe procedures are adhered to when bunkering, in order to prevent overflow and pollution
    • Separation, segregation and proper discharging of oily and bilge water mixtures
    • Technical installations on deck, in superstructures and in accommodations
    • Ensure that vendors and contractors are managed safely and effectively
  • Ensure personnel qualifications are established and that each individual is given the opportunity of improvement through selective on the job training
  • Undertake training relevant to the position requirements
  • Member of Emergency Response Team

Requirements

  • Have completed education and meet the standard STCW code A-III/2 for chief engineer and second engineer on ships ≥ 3000 kW propulsion power preferably with steam endorsement
  • 3 years’ experience on the offshore installations or seagoing service as a Chief Engineer
  • Have supervision experience
  • Standard of competence according to Competence Assurance Matrix
  • Excellent command in English written and spoke
