Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Portuguese-speaking Senior / Lead Project Manager to lead complex construction and project delivery activities in Mozambique. The role will oversee projects from planning through execution and completion, ensuring delivery within scope, budget, quality and timelines. You will manage clients, consultants, contractors, and project teams, providing leadership to Project Managers and Assistant Project Managers.

Responsibilities:
– Lead end-to-end project delivery and project teams.
– Manage clients, consultants, contractors and subcontractors.
– Oversee project schedules, budgets, procurement, contracts and risks.
– Monitor project performance, quality and compliance.
– Provide leadership to Project Managers / Assistant Project Managers.
– Develop cost-effective plans and schedules for project completion.
– Prepare Letters of Appointment for procurement of consulting teams.
– Coordinate completion of all required project documentation and reporting.

Qualifications:
Required Qualifications:
• – Bachelor’s degree/BTech/Diploma in Built Environment, Construction, Engineering or related field.
• – 10+ years’ experience in the built environment, with at least 5 years in construction/project management.
• – Proven experience managing complex construction projects and multidisciplinary teams.
• – Strong knowledge of project controls, contracts, cost management and procurement.
• – Strong leadership, commercial, stakeholder management and communication skills.
• – Fluent Portuguese and English is essential.
• – Must have the right to work in Mozambique.
Preferred Qualifications:
• – Mozambique/Africa project experience is an advantage.
• – Post Graduate Project Management qualification.
• – Membership with a registered accreditation body.
• – Registered as a Candidate Construction Project Manager (CcPM) with SACPCMP.
