Purpose of the Role
Provide efficient, technically accurate, and cost‑effective electrical design solutions for onshore and offshore greenfield and brownfield projects, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulatory, local, and international standards.

Job Responsibilities:

• Lead, supervise, and allocate work to electrical design personnel, ensuring timely delivery of project tasks.
• Produce AFC‑quality electrical design deliverables, including SLDs, schematics, wiring diagrams, cable routing and supports, lighting and small‑power layouts, MTOs, cable schedules, and installation details.
• Mentor and support junior designers and engineers within the discipline.
• Participate in project meetings, identify scope changes, and communicate impacts to Planning and Project Engineers.
• Support engineering teams with design implementation, drawing retrieval, and resolving drawing-related queries.
• Conduct onshore/offshore site surveys and contribute to accurate survey reports.
• Review and interpret vendor documents for incorporation into project deliverables.
• Maintain discipline-related asset drawings and ensure as‑built documentation complies with Company procedures.
• Prepare estimates and schedules for electrical design work scopes.
• Ensure design quality, technical accuracy, and compliance with all applicable standards.
• Coordinate with Lead Discipline Engineers and Project Engineers to obtain necessary information and plan work efficiently.

Key Qualifications:

• Diploma or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Electrical Engineering.
• 15+ years’ experience in brownfield electrical modifications across Concept, FEED, and Detailed Design phases.
• Proven leadership in managing design teams and conducting design reviews.
• Strong multidisciplinary communication and experience preparing cost, time, and resource plans.
• Proficient in AutoCAD 2D/3D, Navisworks, MS Excel, and Word.
• Solid understanding of electrical design standards and field‑based engineering/construction environments.
