International Internship as Drilling & Completion Engineer

About The program

Two year’s -round program places the best master graduates in positions that they will grow both technically and personally through their experience working closely with their Mentor, and team.

Receive first-hand practical knowledge in Drilling & Completion Engineer to help your professional development. Gain international work experience through experiential learning around the 24 months of program.

International Program Overview:

As a Drilling & Completion Engineer, you will participate in a 24-month internship where you will rotate through all departments of the company (national and international), to develop a broad knowledge of how operations work.

 
Mandatory skills:

• Degree, equivalent or PhD Drilling, (Petroleum Engineering, E&P or related field)
• University study in a reasonable timeframe and demonstrable academic achievement
• At least one E&P relevant internship.
• Fluent written and spoken Spanish and English language skills.
• International experience (internship and / or study abroad, school exchange).
• Strongly developed social and interpersonal skills.
• High flexibility and willingness to work internationally.

What you will do:

• Wellsite Orientation Phase – hands-on rig experience, land operation, jack-ups and semi subs.
• Intensive Wellsite Phase (Wellsite Engineer) –shadowing the rig crew and wellsite service contractors on all aspects of the wellbore construction process.
• Working in several Business Units in an office and wellsite environment with the aim to gain in-depth knowledge in Well Design, Drillstring Design, Casing and Cementing, Mud Program, IWCF Level 4, etc.
• Completing project tasks in a team, involving topics of the entire Drilling & Completion life cycle, from initial well design to testing and final well execution Interactive cooperation with other disciplines such as Geology, Geophysics, Reservoir and Production Engineering.
