Cyber Security Analyst – 100% Remote

(CSOC – Incident Detection & Response)

About the Role
 
We are seeking an experienced Cyber Security Analyst to join our Cyber Security Operations Center (CSOC). This role is ideal for professionals with at least one year of hands‑on SOC. You will own incidents from initial detection through containment, investigation, and resolution, collaborating closely with senior analysts and cross‑functional stakeholders. This is a 100% remote role with direct manager based in Houston.

Role Expectations

• Perform in‑depth analysis and investigation of security alerts and incidents
• Actively contribute to incidents from start to finish
• Conduct triage, containment, and remediation activities
• Apply analytical thinking to distinguish true threats from false positives
• Collaborate effectively with senior analysts, engineering teams, and global stakeholders
• Communicate clearly and professionally in English in a global environment

We are looking for candidates who bring at least one of the following advanced skill sets, with opportunities to grow into others:

• Detection engineering or SIEM rule development

• Threat hunting experience
• Cloud security investigation skills (e.g., Azure, AWS, GCP)
• Malware analysis (static or dynamic)
• Digital forensics and evidence handling
