Commissioning Manager -FPSO (I & C)
Duration: 7 months ( may be extendable)
PURPOSE:

Commissioning Manager, responsible for ensuring the proper functionality and handover of all I&C systems on the FPSO. This includes planning, organizing, and leading the commissioning activities, coordinating with various stakeholders, and ensuring safety and quality throughout the process. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develops and implements commissioning plans for I&C systems, ensuring they align with overall project schedules and objectives. 
• Leads and manages the I&C commissioning team, providing guidance, direction, and technical support. 
• Maintains accurate records of commissioning activities, including test results, deviations, and non-conformances. 
• Collaborates with various stakeholders, including EPCM contractors, suppliers, and operations teams, to ensure smooth commissioning and handover. 
• Identifies and resolves issues that arise during commissioning, ensuring systems are functioning as intended. 
• Promotes a strong safety culture and ensures that all commissioning activities are conducted in accordance with relevant standards and regulations. 
• Oversees the handover of I&C systems to the operations team, ensuring they are fully functional and documented. 

REQUIREMENTS:

• Typically requires a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation and Control, or a related field. 
• Proven experience in commissioning I&C systems on FPSO projects is highly desirable. 
• Strong project management skills, including planning, organizing, and resource allocation. 
• In-depth knowledge of I&C systems, including control systems, safety systems, and instrumentation. 
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with various stakeholders. 
• Ability to identify and resolve complex technical issues
