The mission of our Civil Site Manager is to coordinate the civil site team and all civil activities on site related to the project.

Coordination of civil site team and all civil activities on site related to the project.

Inspect construction site to monitor progress and conformance to design specifications, contract, time schedule and safety standards. Site reporting to General Site Manager and Sub PM Civil Engineering

Tracking of time schedule and implementing counter measures

Ensure contractors comply with contracts and spec. technically, QA/QC, time schedule, HSE.

Identification of risk & opportunities, claim management and it´s reporting.

Follow up concurrent calculation (MIKA) for civil scope of work in order to establish counter measures. Supporting General Site Manager and PM Civil Engineering regarding risk & opportunities and claim management.

Check and approval of remeasurement payment and time sheets for monthly invoicing and supporting MIKA process.

Close follow up of additional works in order to support Civil Project Manager with respect to claim management.

Cooperation and consultation with Engineering department (PM Civil Engineering) regarding technical information. Establish and follow up regular conversation with PM Civil Engineering also in respect of solving technical queries. Check and follow up Field Quality Plans.

Establish RFI procedure on site (Request for Information / Technical queries) and follow up clarification process together with Project Manager Civil. Check constructability of civil design documents and provide feedback to engineering. Follow up of Non-Conformance Reports (NCR’s) and approve as built documentation provided by contractors.

Supporting and reporting to General Site Manager and Sub PM Civil Engineering on regular basis regarding HSE, quality, documentation, time schedule and progress, risk & opportunities, contracts, claims, workforce deployment, forecast, contactors performance, deliveries, remarkable events.

Monitor and maintain HSE requirements as per Company Policy, laws and standards and it´s documentation

Comply with the Siemens Compliance and Business Conduct Guidelines. Application of national and international safety rules and regulations

What You Bring

Experience in the construction of complex industrial projects (preferable for combined cycle power plant projects) – EPC and/or Consortium Partner (CP) projects

Experience in managing a workforce and subcontractors within a construction environment

Knowledge of Construction processes and methodologies

In depth knowledge and competence in EHS policies, practices, regulations, and plans for on- site works for complex construction projects.

Proven experience in leading and establishing multinational teams in a quickly changing environment

University degree (or equivalent) in a civil engineering discipline

Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Language competencies:

English: Advanced – reading and writing

German : Advanced – reading and writing
