On behalf of our clients, who are international leaders in large-scale contracting for the EPC sector, we are seeking to recruit a Business Development Manager for East Africa. In this pivotal role, you will play a key part in driving sales growth, identifying new business opportunities, and cultivating strategic relationships. This position requires close collaboration with the regional VP and the head of Commercial, ensuring full compliance with Group guidelines. Your mission is to expand our market presence and enhance revenue streams in the dynamic East African market.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Improve the Company’s market position and increase sales opportunities.
- Identify and pursue potential business deals by engaging with potential partners and exploring emerging opportunities.
- Assist the head of Commercial in establishing long-term commercial strategic goals.
- Cultivate and maintain key customer relationships, while continuously identifying growth prospects.
- Collaborate closely with the head of Commercial to negotiate and finalize business deals, adhering to Group guidelines.
- Stay informed about current market conditions and industry trends.
- Manage and nurture relationships with existing clients, ensuring their satisfaction.
- Must have a University degree.
- Attention to detail and strong management skills are essential for success in this role.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the Oil & Gas sector or Petrochemical sector, with a solid understanding of the energy transition field.

- Team-oriented with self-motivation and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Must be fluent in English.
