Job Opportunity: 3rd Assistant Engineer (Offshore)

We are currently seeking a 3rd Assistant Engineer to join a leading offshore operation.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical equipment.
• Assist in the maintenance of power generation, cooling, lubrication, and fuel systems.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment failures.
• Carry out maintenance on marine equipment, including pumps, valves, cranes, thrusters, and auxiliary systems.
• Prepare accurate technical reports and maintain maintenance records.
• Ensure compliance with the Asset Integrity Management (AIM) system and established maintenance programs.
• Participate in inspections, audits, and follow-up of corrective actions.
• Coordinate maintenance activities with other departments to support safe and efficient operations.
• Monitor the proper use of materials, spare parts, and maintenance resources.

Qualifications

• Valid 3rd Assistant Engineer / Third Engineer Certificate of Competency.
• Previous experience in the maritime or offshore industry.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Experience maintaining power generation, cooling, lubrication, and fuel systems.
• Knowledge of marine equipment maintenance and asset management practices.
• Intermediate to advanced English proficiency.
