Reaching ten years without a Lost Time Incident(LTI) in Gabon is a remarkable achievement. It reflects daily discipline, awareness and the way our teams protect one another on site. This wasn’t achieved by chance but through consistent safe practices over time.
As we close 2025, we are proud to celebrate this milestone. We also want to highlight the people and habits that made it possible.
Congratulations to WTS Energy Gabon
To celebrate this milestone of 10 years of LTI-free, the Gabon team gathered on September 26, 2025, for a special recognition event together with representatives from the Ministry of Labour. The ceremony honoured our 10-year LTI-free achievement. It also recognised several colleagues have contributed to safe and successful operations over the past decade.
The Ministry of Labour awarded official labour medals to 16 WTS Energy employees. Additionally, the company internally recognized 3 consultants. Together, these awards proudly and symbolically acknowledge their loyalty, professionalism, and consistent safe working habits.
The celebration concluded with a nice brunch, soft drinks, and enjoyable music. It was a very warm moment shared together.
Why 10 Years LTI-Free matters?
LTI stands for Lost Time Incident, which refers to any work-related injury or accident that results in someone having to stop working or take time off. Being LTI-free means operating without such incidents. But in reality, it represents much more than that.
It reflects a workplace where people actively look out for one another and recognize risks early. In energy operations, where work often takes place in demanding environments. Maintaining an LTI-free record shows consistent preparation, discipline and teamwork.
For our clients, this means into reliability and continuity. It reassures them that operations can move forward safely and without interruption. And WTS Energy teams perform their duties with care and responsibility. A 10-year LTI-free record proves that we protect our people while consistently delivering safe, high-quality services.
How did WTS Energy Gabon team make 10 Years LTI-Free possible?
Achieving ten years LTI-free in Gabon is the result of consistent habits, open communication and teamwork across every site, every shift and every job. Over the past decade, our operations in Gabon completed more than 2.25 million man-hours without a Lost Time Incident, worked nine years spill-free, and maintained 6.5 years without a High Potential Incident (HIPO). Throughout this period, the team safely completed thousands of operations in demanding conditions. These included over 165,000 wells scraped, more than 3,300 WI special operations jobs, and over 2,200 hot oil and pumping jobs. In addition, the team executed more than 32,000 WHM & I jobs and hundreds of major completion jobs, while maintaining uninterrupted safety performance.
These results were made by planning ahead, analyzing risks before every task, training continuously, reporting early and taking the time to do jobs safely rather than quickly. Field personnel in five remote and isolated locations remained attentive, collaborative and supportive of one another, transforming safety into a shared daily habit rather than a checklist.

This only goes to show that by working as a team as one between Client & Service Providers, such milestones are achievable. Meaning that this includes everybody from the Client and all WTS Energy Divisions working together in harmony and putting Safety as a priority.
Learning from every shortfall and putting emphasis regarding analyzing each and every risk, new or old. Thus, Thank You for everybody’s hard work, sacrifices, and unselfish contribution to achieve and surpassed such milestones.

After 10 working years for WTS Energy, safety has become part of my habits. It is not only about following instructions and procedures but having safe behaviors at all moments.
As Maintenance Coordinator, a meeting is held each morning before starting daily activities. The purpose is to raise awareness of risk identification for every assigned task. I am proud of knowing that safety is not an obstacle to our daily activities but a tool to keep everyone healthy.
Looking ahead
As we enter a new year, WTS Energy Gabon team will continue to build on this strong safety foundation. The past ten years have shown what is possible when people care, communicate and support one another. We are proud of what has been achieved together and excited to carry the same commitment into the years ahead.
