WTS Energy is seeking to hire Operations Specialist for one of its client who is a reputed refinery company.
Key Results Area
Directs and supervises the daily operations of the units in the complex while ensuring operational safety throughout all the units.
Reviews and monitors product yields, utilities consumption and plant performance data on a daily basis to maintain and enhance the most profitable operating patterns and minimize production loss.
Plans and supervises the unit T&I’s within the section. Acts as Shutdown Coordinator prior to and during T&I’s and maintains overall control of T&I.
Maintains and updates shutdown work lists, equipment purchase and repair (EP&RC) status, shutdown procedures, operating and emergency procedures and start-up check lists (PSSR).
Develops, organizes and monitors operator competency and recommends training within the section. Responsible for maintaining conditions, procedures and operator skill levels to achieve desired yield and quality specification.
B.Sc in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering.
Minimum of 8 years practical and administrative experience in refining process units, with at least 2 years in a senior role (shift supervisor or Sr. Engineer).
Must have detailed knowledge of all units under controlled complex, interrelated units, facilities and an overall understanding of refinery operations.
Strong administrative, organizational and leadership skills.
Available on call on a 24-hour basis.
