This position to drive forward business sales and growth in the GCC region for the complete product range of the business. This should be achieved through organic growth of existing customers while also identifying new niche and underdeveloped customers and markets, delivering profitable growth.
 
The Sales Manager reports directly to the Managing Director.

Key Job Duties:
  • Strategically develop and implement sales, marketing, and budgets in line with business objectives
  • Assess and plan product/service pricing and quotation structure based upon key feedback
  • Identify target markets with data analysis and targeted research, develop strategies to penetrate them
  • Analyse potential strategic partner relationships for company, maximise cost efficiency and ROI
  • Manage current  sales team of x2 internal and x2 external and x1 project Proposal Engineer.
  • Produce, deliver and improve all sales related processes, strategy and reporting.
  • Analyse data from SAP and provide relevant accurate reports/updates to various areas of the business and senior management
  • Produce all sales related data as required and report to the Board at the monthly Board meeting.
  • Liaise with all principals to maintain good relations reporting on current activity for both sales and marketing, plan and execute diary dates, including sales visits, for Principles during visits.
  • Produce monthly reports with Principles to assess progress against achieved targets
  • Work with the sales team to identify all opportunities for cross selling and up selling, and identify reasons for any lost orders and strategy to overcome them.
  • Chair weekly sales team meeting ensuring that all actions and agendas are adhered to and proactively participate in cross-functional meetings.
  • Lead and proactively participate cross-functional meetings – Marketing, Purchasing, Logistics and Accounts depts.
 
Management & Leadership Responsibilities:
  • Ensure company’s image, philosophy, mission/ vision continually practiced throughout the company
  • Proactively plan, manage, development of direct reports career progression and succession planning
  • Maintain effective communications to ensure all relevant staff are informed of sales objectives activities
  • Maintain professional internal and external relationships that meet company core values.

Requirements

Education/Certification(s) Requirements:
  • Engineering Degree or equivalent from accredited University preferred or equivalent experience
  • Experience of SAP ERP package
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role (preferably within the UAE).
  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in a similar industry/market with overlapping responsibilities – Oil & Gas and/or Industrial exposure
  • Experience with standard MS Office and essential computer skills.
  • Business certificate or qualification desired.
  • Valid UAE driving License
